Improves workflow and frees up space June 1st 2004 Construction and agricultural equipment manufacturer, JCB, has recently taken delivery of a Nu-Star Power Pusher at its site in Rocester, Staffordshire.
The Power Pusher is used to push, pull and manoeuvre trolleys loaded with up to five tonnes of steel plate. Previously, these had been moved by forklift, which wasted time waiting for a unit to become available and space as a large turning circle was needed.
The company looked at a variety of possible solutions and found the Power Pusher to be the most flexible and rugged. A simple attachment has been welded to the trolleys, enabling the Power Pusher to move a variety of loads, increasing the workflow and freeing up space.
Measuring just 1.4m long and 670mm wide, the Power Pusher has its own on-board battery charging system 240 or 110V input. More articles from Nu-Star Material Handling Ltd: |
