Joloda helps keep the juices flowing June 1st 2010 Supplier of automatic vehicle loading
systems, Joloda International, has
been supporting juice supplier,
Gerber, for three years. Joloda
loading technology can help
organisations that move large
volumes of palletised goods save
costs, increase cross dock efficiencies,
improve health and safety, and
reduce their carbon footprint.
When capacity was increased at
Gerber's Bridgwater site, Joloda had
to take into account: 118
pallets per hour being loaded
at the production site and
unloaded at chilled store; a
mix of Euro and Chep pallets
weighing up to 1400kg; the
limited time the product can
be exposed to ambient
temperatures; and space restrictions
at the loading bay.
Joloda has supplied two loading
docks at the factory warehouse and
two unloading docks for the storage
warehouse, along with four trailer
systems to load and unload from the
automatic dock systems, taking the
pallets of juice to the chilled storage
0.25 miles from the production site. More articles from Joloda International Ltd: |
