Moving baled loads
April 1st 2010

Property giant Land Securities has acquired a compact counterbalanced stacker for moving baled cardboard at its Lewisham shopping centre.

Having installed a new compactor, it was decided that a hand pallet truck was unsuitable for moving the large baled loads. After internet research, the company contacted Hertfordshire-based materials handling specialist Stanley Handling.

The company says: "Ideally suited to the application, the ROBUR SBC/C3006 would minimise manual handling and satisfy health and safety concerns.With the assurance of first rate after sales service and timely delivery, the deal was struck." Land Securities technical services manager Chris Middleton adds: "Stanley have been helpful throughout and the ROBUR stacker is perfect for the job."
