Portable rollerbed system
December 1st 2011 The new trailerloda portable rollerbed
system from Joloda is reported to be
growing in popularity in refrigerated
and rental trailer markets across
Europe and is being used by World
Courier in temperature controlled
distribution for pharmaceutical and
healthcare companies.
Trailerloda is said to be ideal for
refrigerated vehicles as it prevents
having to cut into the expensive
insulated floor. Easily installed in just
a single day, the system is laid on top
of the existing floor and not
permanently fixed into the floor.
This means that any trailers on hire
for logistics contracts can have the
system easily removed at the end of
the lease term and re-used for
another contract.
The system also works well with
perishables as it can be washed and
cleaned out more easily than the
conventional rollertrack system.
Another company using
Trailerloda is HCS, a Danish leasing
company with 10 trailers. Although
the company also uses fixed aircargo
trailers, the trailerloda option gives
the flexibility to cope with seasonal
