Stacker out to sea
October 1st 2010

A compact stacker from Robur's SBE range is being used to move and stack supplies and equipment aboard a new, lightweight oil and gas drilling ship in locations around the world.

Following an initial enquiry via Google, this stacker was supplied by Stanley Handling to drilling and subsurface evaluation company Fugro Well Services. The truck is working on the company's vessel Fugro Synergy.

The robust and manoeuvrable SBE1610 stacker features powered lift and drive, has a load capacity of 1000kg and lifts to 1600mm.

Electronic speed control, electromagnetic braking and a high capacity battery are all included as standard.
