Training seminar offers best practice March 1st 2011 Anyone responsible for the thorough
examination and inspection of crane
ropes is being offered a training
seminar that will bring them up-todate
with new industry
requirements.
National lifting gear distributor,
Certex UK, has developed the
seminar-style training sessions in
response to the recent revision of the
BS ISO 4309 (including Crane Rope
Inspection and Discard Criteria),
which was published in August 2010
and now supersedes previous
versions of the standard.
Offered at a variety of locations
across the UK, the short training
sessions will be run by industry
expert Ray Allen, chairman of the
International Standards Technical
Sub-Committee responsible for
writing the revised standard and
principal trainer on Certex's popular
Wire Rope Examiner course for over
20 years.
Attendance costs £99 per person. More articles from Certex (UK) Ltd: |
