Reduces the strain of one man loading December 1st 2009 According to Joloda, mounting
pressure to reduce the number of
large trucks for urban deliveries,
means that light vans are increasingly
being used for the carriage of pallets
and other heavy and awkward items.
The new VanLoda system from
Joloda enables up to three pallets up
to 1000kg in weight and of various
footprint sizes (four in long wheel
base vehicles) to be loaded and
pushed into the length of the
vehicle by one man without
undue strain.
The VanLoda is a full length
roller bed powered by a 12V
low current compressor.
Inflating the roller track lifts the
rollers, allowing pallets or heavy
items to be pushed into
position. Releasing the air lowers the
rollers so the bed becomes flat and
the load can be secured as it would be
on a normal van deck.
Once a pallet or similar heavy item
has been positioned by forklift on to
the end of the VanLoda, one man can
push it to the rear of the van without
having to climb onboard. More articles from Joloda International Ltd: |
