Goodsmaster solves handling problem

Stannah Goodsmaster 1000B goods
lift is providing vital behind-thescenes
catering support to
Birmingham's LG Arena and the
800,000 annual visitors to concerts
and sporting events at the facility.
The 1000kg goods lift with its
through-car capability streamlines
the movement of catering supplies
between the kitchens that serve two
lakeside restaurants: the groundfloor
Sanctum, and the private, 400-
cover Arena Suite on the first floor.
Matthew Battle, director of Ibex,
one of the largest, privately owned,
specialist fit-out, refurbishment
contractors in the UK, said: "We
specified the Stannah Goodsmaster
1000B for its proven performance in
demanding environments. It was a
cost-effective option for this design
and build project, with the added
benefit of a year's warranty, courtesy
of the Birmingham branch of
