Curtis Instruments has a product range to offer any solution for electrical controls. A recent example is powered mailroom trolleys marketed by Envosort.

The Curtis "package" consists of a 1210-2201 speed controller for smooth easy speed over varied terrain and inclines; a tiller head and harness for operation control and steering; plus supporting 1604CS battery chargers to revive the power source as and when indicated.
