Reel deal for stacker trucks

Italian pedestrian stacker truck manufacturer Armanni has made Bury-based Reel & Shaft Handling Company (RaSHCo) its exclusive agent and distributor for the UK and Ireland.

Armanni offers a wide range of modern stacker trucks and RaSHCo has vast experience in the design of reel and shaft handling equipment. The deal means RaSHCo is able to offer a cost-effective range of pedestrian reel handling trucks, which includes the latest 4-way unit.

RaSHCo managing director, Stephen Weston commented: "Integrating our reel handling system with the Armanni 4-way truck means operators can safely handle large reels in confined spaces. The full 4-way range of steering makes it much easier to move loads around obstacles whilst maintaining full control." Recent orders for RaSHCo include two systems for an international print firm to improve the handling and speed of transit of finished reels within its factory.

RaSHCo's solution includes a reel turning system on an Armanni truck to turn two columns of reels to vertical, with two hoist mounted vertical reel lifters to palletise reels.
