Tilt unit joins low profile range

The latest scissor lifts from Hymo include a tilting model, designated MXV8-8, and a conventional fixed platform model, the MX5-8.

The MXV lift table is designed to simplify the safe handling of pallets, stillages, tote bins and other loads in a wide range of production and warehousing applications.

Push buttons control the tilting movement of the platform at any angle to 40° to provide ergonomic access to loads. This means the need for an operator to reach or stretch over pallets or into stillages is greatly reduced, thereby ensuring a safer working environment.

Units come with a choice of two platform sizes – 1200 by 850mm and 1200 by 1050mm. Versatility is enhanced by the unit’s lifting capacity of 800kg and its ability to raise loads to 880mm. The low closed height of the MXV enables it to be located directly onto the floor without the need for a pit.

Introduction of the MX5-8 lift table means Hymo now offers an extensive range of low profile units with lifting capacities from 500 to 1800kg. This model can be supplied with conventional platform or E-shaped version.
