Drives to automotive supplier April 1st 2006 Developed in response to specific customer needs, Zed System's Universal Drive for trolleys has become commonly known as the Trolley Drive.
To make the system as versatile as possible, Zed Systems incorporated a moveable tiller arm to provide ease of operation.
The machine is available in a range of standard sizes, although the company will also manufacture trolleys to suit individual requirements, providing a reliable and cost effective materials handling solution.
The tiller head features a joystick via which the operator controls speed of travel. There is also a direction selection switch and an anti-pinning switch.
Unloaded speed, depending on the model, is around 5km per hour.
The length of work cycle between battery charges depends on the loads being moved and the intensity of the work carried out, although the charge will generally last between four and eight hours.
A major automotive supply company has recently caught on to the advantages offered by Trolley Drive and has completed a highly successful trial of the product.
