Warehouse range extended
April 1st 2006

Finning has added to its extensive Caterpillar warehouse range by introducing a new medium level order picker, three stand-on stackers and three pedestrian stackers. All the new models have been designed for agile operation in narrow aisles and operating flexibility, making them particularly suitable for use in smaller warehouses.

The VNA Cat NOM10K compact 24V medium level order picker features a specially designed operator's compartment with unobstructed visibility and access to the picking pallet by combining split controls with a thin cabin front.

Supplementary lift enables the operator to raise the pallet or cage to ensure it is always at a convenient height for picking.

The three Cat NSR-K stand-on stackers combine a reach of up to 6.5m with fast lifting and horizontal travel speeds to maximise productivity. Tampered forks provide smooth and quick access into the pallets.

NSR-K stackers can be programmed to suit exact operating requirements, aiding a longer working life and keeping strain on moving parts to a minimum.

The new range of Cat NSP-N pedestrian stackers is said to optimise high-lift, short run warehouse operations in manufacturing, retail or distribution environments, combining powerful and economic AC drive motors. The three stackers offer a wide variety of masts and capacities for loads from 1.0 to 1.6t, and heights from 5.4 to 30m.

An ergonomically designed tiller arm groups key controls within fingertip reach for both right and left handed drivers.
