Mentor the first for LEEA Accreditation June 1st 2009
Mentor says it is the first
training company to have a
two day lifting and slinging
course accredited by the
Lifting Equipment Engineers
Association.
LEEA works closely with
the Health and Safety
Executive and other safety
organisations and produced
the widely respected Code
of Practice for the Safe Use
of Lifting Equipment
(COPSULE).
Following the recent
establishment by LEEA of its
"Accredited Training
Companies" scheme,
Mentor was keen to ensure
that its two day course met
the exacting requirements
of the Association. After a
thorough audit LEEA
awarded Mentor with the
first accreditation for a
course under the new
scheme.
All delegates who
successfully complete a two
day lifting and slinging
course with Mentor will
receive a certificate bearing
the LEEA accredited training
company logo, giving the
employer the peace of mind
that the training that they
have received has been
assessed and approved by
the experts in their field.
