Distribution contract renewalOctober 1st 2005
Sanyo has renewed its warehousing and distribution contract with NYK Logistics for an additional five years.
Operating 24-hours a day, five-days a week from a dedicated 6040m2 area in a high security warehouse, NYK Logistics despatches products to 250 locations throughout the UK on Sanyo’s behalf.
Orders are received by EDI direct from Sanyo’s SAP computer system and processed utilising NYK’s Warehouse Management System.
Depending on order size and value, a range of delivery services is being supplied via the use of dedicated vehicles, NYK’s shared user pallet network and a third party parcel network.
