Fully automatic high speed strapping solution
October 1st 2005 End-of-line packaging specialist, M. J. Maillis has secured a contract to supply, install and commission 26 fully automatic, high speed Pakseal strapping machines at the new Polestar Truenorth plant in Sheffield.
Polestar required a high speed cross strapping solution that would reliably strap 40 bundles of Fully automatic high speed strapping solution polythene-wrapped magazines per minute. In order to minimise impact on valuable floor space, the system also had to negate the need for bundles to be rotated during the cross strapping function.
The Maillis solution uses Pakseal PSN 40 fully automatic strapping machines for transverse strapping, followed by Pakseal PSNi 40 in-line strapping machines. More articles from M J Maillis UK Ltd: |
