Productive 3-wheel forklift February 1st 2006 The market for 3-wheel electric lift trucks has always been important for Yale, especially in the sectors where its versatile 3-wheel 48 Volt front wheel drive trucks are used in goods in and goods out operations.
Yale's latest generation of 3-wheel electric trucks is the AC powered ATF range with lifting capacities of 1600, 1800 and 2000kg. Thanks to its short wheelbase and tight turning circle, the ATF can turn within its overall length with a pallet on the forks, so the highly manoeuvrable truck is at home in confined spaces as well as working on the loading dock.
With AC powered traction and auto regenerative braking, the Yale ATF combines compact design with the latest power options and electronic controls.
Maintenance is kept to a minimum and on-board diagnostics with operator display reduce down time.
Productivity is enhanced on the Yale ATF with high power dual drive 48 Volt motors and four pre-set performance settings. The ATF has twin steer axles and counter rotational drive wheels to maximise the turning circle with minimum tyre wear.
