Versatile docking station
February 1st 2006

New from Transdek UK is a free-standing weatherproof docking station that can be adjusted in less than a minute to suit a variety of vehicle heights.

Consisting a heavyduty steel frame supporting a deck, the dock has a pair of hydraulic arms at one end, which can be raised/ lowered to suit vehicle floor heights from 700mm to 1500mm. An extending tongue extends over tail lifts and provides a safe surface for moving goods in and out.

Manufactured from heavy-duty chequer plate with an anti-slip coating, the dock typically provides a 3 x 3m working area.

The weather-proof canopy can be insulated for customers handling frozen food. Lighting is also included, as well as heavy-duty buffers for protection.
