Logistics company InBond has integrated warehouse and duty management processes at its 500,000ft2 depot in Eaglescliffe, north east England, using DLx Warehouse, BillingCtl and DutyMaster from RedPrairie.

The comprehensive, integrated solution has saved InBond the cost and complexity of operating two separate systems.

The company reports a significant increase in picking speed, cut order errors and improved inventory accuracy substantially in 10 months.

RedPrairie's DLx suite replaces InBond's standalone legacy depot and duty management systems and provides a comprehensive, functionality-rich solution for InBond's multi-client warehousing operations. The logistics services provider evaluated solutions from other leading vendors, but found RedPrairie offered the best value and applications that could be modified quickly and easily to meet the warehousing needs of individual customers.

RedPrairie's BillingCtl solution also tracks handling and storage charges payable by each customer to ensure prompt, accurate invoicing.

"The DLx suite cuts overheads by enabling us to integrate the management of all our operations into a single solution," says Chris Boothman, InBond' s IT manager.
