LLow cost solution to Tesco mandate

Toshiba, Opticon and Norprint have announced a solution that enables grocery suppliers to meet the retailer’s labelling requirements for as little as Ł6,000.

Comprising software supplied by Norprint, Opticon handhelds and Toshiba’s SX printers, the system can be installed in a day, and according to the three firms, delivers significant savings, as well as reducing errors and mis-labelled orders.

By complying with Tesco’s requests, suppliers will remain clear of potential fines imposed by the retailer on those that do not.
