LLow cost solution to Tesco mandate August 1st 2009 Toshiba, Opticon and Norprint have announced a solution that enables grocery suppliers to meet the retailer’s labelling requirements for as little as £6,000.
Comprising software supplied by Norprint, Opticon handhelds and Toshiba’s SX printers, the system can be installed in a day, and according to the three firms, delivers significant savings, as well as reducing errors and mis-labelled orders.
By complying with Tesco’s requests, suppliers will remain clear of potential fines imposed by the retailer on those that do not.
