Reach for more, says Hyundai
September 24th 2009 Hyundai has added four new sit-on AC reach trucks - from 1.4 to 2.5t capacity - to its range. Capable of lifting up to 12m, the firm claims higher performance, lower maintenance costs, reduced energy consumption and low noise emissions are as standard.
Hyundai says the trucks are highly capable, productive and durable - but not over engineered. 'Technical subtleties are not a priority,' according to the company. Safety, however, is, with an anti-rollback function, electromagnetic breaks fitted to the load-bearing wheels and driving wheels returned to central position upon ignition.
Hyundai says the trucks are easy to maintain and have a long lease life.
