RFID standard issued by ISO February 1st 2010 A new ISO RFID standard has been issued to help trace products in the supply chain. The ISO 17367:2009 standard is designed to help manufacturers and distributors track products and to help manage their traceability.
Craig K Harmon, chair of relevant working committee said: “The standard will provide higher security of products worldwide using RFID technology. It will enable easy and efficient exchange of commodities in international trade and logistics.”
