US utility looks to warehouse power March 1st 2010 Utility Southern California Edison is leasing space on the roofs of about 50 warehouses in Los Angeles to generate 250 megawatts of electricity from solar power.
The utility will provide solar technology for generating up to 80 per cent of the power capacity needed for the utility’s large solar photovoltaic installation program.
