China’s march on the world’s manufacturing markets is creating an urgent need for supply chain talent both internationally and locally – hence the launch of English-speaking recruitment site www.supplychainjobs.cn.

Launched by the China Supply Chain Council – an association with a community of over 10,000 supply chain professionals – the aim is to attract quality professionals wiith end-to-end experience.

“The Chinese market needs supply chain leaders who have done more than simple purchasing or transportation,” says Max Henry, founder of the China Supply Chain Council. “To stay competitive, both local and foreign companies operating in China must find supply chain management leaders who can manage the entire supply chain – from planning to delivery. Too many companies in China share the same horror stories of hundreds of responses from anybody who can spell supply chain.“

Targeted at mid-to-high management levels, www.supplychainjobs.cn is free of charge and allows candidates to post CVs and have jobs which meet their criteria emailed directly to them.
