Hyster’s Fortens won’t burn rubber
November 7th 2005 Hyster FORTENS trucks now come with Michelin’s Stabil’X XZM radial tyres at no extra cost.
Available as a free option across the range, the tyre is adapted for applications on poor surfaces, or where intensive use of the truck is required due to its high shock absorption and cool running. This eliminates tyre destruction due to heat, according to the companies.
Increasing tyre life and thereby reducing operating costs compared to pneumatic solids and bias tyres, Hyster claims the Stabil’X XZM is the only pneumatic radial tyre that can be fitted tubeless on a standard multipiece rim.
