Turntable makes life loads easier for Waitrose

Another Waitrose installation from British Turntable is making the loading bay safer and more efficient at Waitrose’ new Wallingford store.

The 15m diameter HGV access turntable means lorries can drive straight in and out of the service yard without having to manoeuvre in a limited space - and gives the store more room for its sales aisles.

As the service area is so restricted the turntable has been designed to allow cages to be stored upon it in an area not required by the truck – and also for a transit sized van (used for home deliveries) to be parked on it without preventing an artic from using it.
