Swisslog wins hot order
December 13th 2006

Radiator producer, Quinn Radiators, has commissioned logistics company Swisslog to design and implement an automated high bay warehouse at the company’s new production site in Newport, South Wales.

The new facility encompasses six stacker cranes able to serve 41,000 pallet locations and a conveyor system to transport the pallets. Three gantry robots, each equipped with magnetic heads, will be used for the picking of single radiators to order. Swisslog will implement its software products WarehouseManager™ and AutomationManager™ to run and monitor the solution.
