Flat Floor Specialist Gets First UKAS Accreditation

FACE Consultants is the first company to be accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for testing floor flatness in accordance with the latest edition of the Concrete Society’s Technical Report Number 34 (TR34) on concrete industrial ground floors.

UKAS is the only accreditation body recognised by the Government for assessing organisations that provide inspection, testing, certification and calibration services. Accreditation by UKAS confirms their competence, impartiality and sustainable performance.

UKAS inspectors spent 12 months assessing the methods and systems used by FACE Consultants to ensure they met the ISO/IEC 17025:1999 standard, which covers general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

FACE Consultants uses advanced digital floor measuring devices, all developed in-house, to measure floor flatness and regularity in free movement areas and narrow aisles to various national and international standards.
