Attachment improves truck versatility

Leading builder’s merchants, Build Center, has improved the handling of its products with the purchase of seven Kaup 2T402UV from B&B Attachments. Purchased via Barloworld Handling, the clamps are being used for handling a wide range of products including narrow and long loads and brick and block packs.

Previously, Build Center used a scissor grab for handling bricks and blocks, which was difficult to fit and relied on gravity to function. Now with the Kaup 2T402UV, the brick and blocks are clamped hydraulically which speeds up the handling process.

Build Center is finding the Kaup 2T402UV indispensable for transporting the variety and sizes of products found in its branches. It reduces the costs associated with dispatching a pallet with every load, and as the clamp is able to handle a variety of load sizes, increases the versatility of the forklift.
