High quality Bolt On July 24th 2006 Mar-key Marquees has introduced an innovative new product, called the “Bolt On” structure. The Bolt On structures are linked to existing trading floors and buildings using a heavy duty aluminium sealed frame and are anchored to both the ground and main building.
Natural light is enhanced by the 20% Kingspan translucent roof system, while relative ambient air temperature in the structure us maintained by three adjustable roof mounted air vents. Kingspan panels have also been used to provide opaque walling. The premier quality structure is given a high finish by the inclusion of tinted laminated glass windows. Overall, the Bolt On provides an aesthetic, practical and cost effective alternative to a traditional extension build.
Mar-key Marquees managing director, David Tabb, and logistics director Ben Scroggie were instrumental in ensuring that the design met the key requirements of functionality, practicality, cost effectiveness and the client's objectives from the outset. The 9-month project successfully concluded with the first “Bolt On” structure being built in July at the Good Mayes Tesco Store, in Romford, Essex, by Gordon Grierson and his crew. Consequently, a further twenty have been planned nationwide.
David Tabb said: “It is always pleasing to know that when a project comes together so successfully, we have not only met the client’s stringent requirements, but have once again exceeded them.”
