Southworth has taken over Craven Associates

Southworth now offers vacuum handling

Southworth Handling has recently expanded business with a take-over of Craven Associates and its extensive range of vacuum handling equipment.

Southworth will now be manufacturing the Hover-Lift, offering the full range of attachments and services to existing and new customers. The Hover-Lift is a proven product, designed to handle boxes, white goods, sacks and drums using a variety of purpose designed attachments. It has simple hand operated controls with an automatic gripper and a release that only works with the load fully supported to prevent accidental load drops.

The robust, all stainless steel unit costs no more than many other mild steel units on the market. Corrosion resistant, it is suited to a range of applications requiring stainless steel without modification. It is also available for a range of specialist applications including explosion risk areas and is proven in the food, pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries.

With a wealth of experience to call upon Southworth is confident that Hover-Lift can provide a suitable solution to most vacuum handling applications for loads up to 400 kg.
