The 1000th Cat truck to the 1000th Travis Perkins site

Finning Materials Handling, the sole provider of Caterpillar trucks, has reached the 1000th delivered truck milestone with Travis Perkins. The 1000th machine, a Cat DP35N Counterbalance truck has been delivered to the Travis Perkins’ 1000th site in Hatfield.

Graham Bellman, Group Transport Manager, Travis Perkins, commented: “The delivery of the thousandth truck to our Hatfield depot is a sign of the relationship that we have built up with Finning over the past ten years. Our partnership is an important part of our business and ensures that that our sites are fully operational and working to the greatest efficiency.”

The Cat DP35N counterbalance truck is designed for comfortable and easy operation with lower noise levels and advanced fingertip hydraulic controls, on an adjustable armrest, for optimum load handling precision. The design improvements have also extended the service interval to 500 hours reducing the total cost of ownership.
