LPG safety training

Leading LPG supplier, Calor has launched a new customer training package for the safe refuelling of LPG powered forklift trucks.

The new booklet and course are part of Calor’s comprehensive customer package for forklift truck operators. The main objective is to teach operators how to refuel equipment correctly and safely when refilling from their Calor LPG bulk tank.

Calor is providing two levels of training – safe refuelling instruction and a train the trainer package.

The booklet for operators, called "A Guide to Safe Refuelling" covers personal safety, hazardous places and area classification, cylinder storage, separation distances, installations, refuelling instructions, manual handling and action in an emergency.
