New Nissan series plays it straight March 10th 2006 Designed to provide enhanced safety and productivity, Nissan’s new series of electric lift trucks incorporates a Syncro feature to provide “instant” straight-line travel. The Syncro feature automatically returns the truck’s steering wheel spinner knob to the ideal driving position for forward and reversing operations.
All models in the three-wheel TX Syncro range feature a double rear wheel for additional stability. The AC-powered range is designed to bridge the gap between Nissan’s warehouse equipment and its standard four-wheel counterbalanced trucks. There are five versions and six capacities from 1.25 to 2.0 tonnes. Compact, Standard and High Performance options add to the handling versatility of the series.
The “Syncro” technology means that is an operator has driven into a stack or racking at an angle, they can be sure the drive wheels are in the correct position for straight line travel before reversing out. Time consuming forward and reverse movements needed to straighten the steer wheels are eliminated, along with the risk of de-stabilising the load or damaging stored products.
The new range boasts class-leading lift and acceleration speeds, while safety for both the operator and the surrounding workforce is assured by Nissan’s Risk Reduction System, which results in a cabin space that provides the best all-round visibility and incorporates dedicated controls for optimum secure operation.
Highly manoeuvrable, the TX Syncro is just 1070m wide and features an innovative AC TECH controller for maximum performance and economy. More articles from Nissan Motor (GB) Limited: |
