 Rotates through 360 degrees Safe load lifting
November 8th 2006 Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belting Europe is the latest company to recognise the advantages of AL-Vac’s Two-Joint Swing Arm vacuum lifter. The unit’s ‘double-jointed swing arm’ ensures safe lifting of loads and full rotation through 360 degrees compared to 270 degrees offered by most other machines.
At Fenner Dunlop's production plant in Hull, hundreds of 25kg plastic sacks containing raw material are transferred from pallets to hoppers every day. Until recently, this had been a manual operation but the company recognised the need for a simple to operate piece of free-standing lifting equipment that would eliminate any risk of injury to its workforce.
Vacuum-lifting specialist, AL-Vac, designed its competitively priced floor-mounted two-joint vacuum lifter to be flexible, robust and easy to install. Simple hand controls enable the operator to pick up the 25kg sacks individually, using the unit’s powerful vacuum head, and position them over hoppers with great precision.
