The benefits of the lowprofile scissor lift table combined with two runs of powered roller conveyor Tecmach launches new scissor lift November 15th 2006 Tecmach Ltd of St Albans has launched the JXU Automat scissor lift, an automatic lowprofile scissor lift with combined powered roller conveyor for ergonomic working. The JXU Automat allows a pallet transported by hand pallet truck to be automatically loaded to a driven conveyor system at a height of up to 800mm from the ground. The equipment is able to raise a pallet from floor level to conveyor height and transfer the pallet onto the conveyor system automatically. Equally it can be used to off load pallets and lower them to floor level ready for removal with hand pallet truck.
The Automat takes the many benefits of the lowprofile scissor lift table and combines them with two runs of powered roller conveyor. The low-profile design eliminates the expense of constructing a pit or the capital investment and training requirements associated with forklift operation.
The top of roller height is just 85mm, which allows easy loading with a hand pallet truck and the driven conveyor allows pallet transfer to and from the lift to be automated. Whatever the design of pallet used at the work station, whether Euro or four-way entry, the Automat can handle them.
The inclusion of the Automat at both ends of the conveyor system ensures easy pallet handing for operators using standard pallet trucks. Particular benefits are where space is at a premium and access via a forklift is limited by local storage. The JXU Automat means that the forklift can be banished from the work area, resulting in improved safety, no forklift damage to adjacent equipment and reduced floor damage as a result of much lower wheel loading.
