September 20th 2006 The Addgards Column Protector, launched at the May 2006 BMHF exhibition, has exceeded all initial sales expectations. An overwhelming response to the Column Protector has been received from warehouse managers and distributors alike. The reason the Column Protector has done so well is that up until now the cost of protecting a column was costing on average £300 to £500 per column, not to mention the replacement costs in the event of a collision. The new Column Protectors start at £190.00 and it only costs £100 to replace a side in the event of damage.

On collision the Addgards Column Protector releases air to cushion the impact between the forklift and the column. The Column Protector can withstand heavy and frequent blows.
The Addgards Column Protector is highly versatile – its innovative shape will fit column sizes from 6” to 12” (15cm to 30cm); it will fit rectangular columns with Addgards adaptable straps; and it can also be adapted to fit columns located against walls.
