Higher acquisition

Lavendon Group has announced the acquisition of Higher Platforms. The company will continue to operate under its own identity within the Lavendon Group although is seeking to gain immediate benefit from maximising asset-sharing opportunities across all of the UK Lavendon companies.

"This is an important addition to our existing network of regional businesses and the acquisition of Higher Platforms further strengthens our position as the choice for the supply of powered access equipment within the UK," says Lavendon's chief executive, Kevin Appleton.

"We see this as a great opportunity for Higher Platform's staff and customers," says Higher Platforms' managing director Leigh Farmer.
