Technical sales director appointed
October 1st 2007 Marcus Hunter takes over the
reigns as technical sales
director at Excel
Automation, with a brief that
will ensure the company
offers a much broader range
of handling solutions.
"I am extremely optimistic
about the future for Excel; I
have been on the receiving
end specifying and buying
systems in my capacity as
engineering manager at
Comau," says Hunter.
"I appreciate what the
company can do and I will be
exploiting all the in-house
talent to support, not only
our existing
clients but
develop into
new business
sectors." Marcus
joins Excel at a
time when the
company has
been busy over
the past six
months
expanding across many
departments, in particular
recruiting for its electrical and
mechanical design teams as
well as strengthening its
management team. As
technical sales director Marcus will be co-ordinating
much of the operation of the
design teams to ensure that
