Polypipe Seals Five-Year Deal with Impact Toyota
February 16th 2007

Impact Toyota has just sealed a five-year full contract hire deal with Polypipe worth more than £3.7m.

The move secures Impact Toyota, as Polypipe’s sole supplier of all its materials handling needs at its 13 warehouse and production sites across the UK.

As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of plastic pipe systems, Polypipe requires more than just forklifts – it includes rough terrain vehicles and VNA equipment to yard sweepers and master movers. Impact Toyota will supply and provide dedicated service on all the vehicles from its branches in Corby, Doncaster andNottingham, Impact’s headquarters.

Renowned for delivering personalised service, Impact Toyota has worked closely with Polypipe for more than 15 years. This exclusive agreement is an extension to the existing contract and underscores the powerful partnership between the two businesses.

Commenting on the deal, Norman Gray, Group Services Manager at Polypipe, explained, “We have been working with Impact Toyota for many years. In that time the team has demonstrated a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Not only was the team able to arrange a unique proposal that matched our specifications, it saved us money.”

Gary Hawkhead, Impact Toyota’s head of sales said, “Polypipe is a long-standing, valued customer and we are proud to continue to be working closely with them. It’s an example of the kind of service we provide our customers – a commitment to building robust relationships, delivering exceptional service and offering value for money.”
