Cost saving HF chargers

EnerSys has introduced a new range of Hawker cost-saving, high frequency (HF) chargers – the Lifetech series of single-phase multi-capacity units for charging vented and gel motive power batteries.

Developed as a cost-effective and efficient accessory for flooded and VRLA batteries, particularly Hawker's Perfect Plus and Evolution series, the Lifetech range comprises 24 volt single phase multi-capacity chargers. The chargers are both lightweight and compact enabling them to be wall-mounted, freeing up valuable warehouse floor space.

Ionic mixing by pulse currents to ensure optimum mixing of the electrolyte and the standard charging profile allows a charging time of between just seven and 14 hours. Chargers at the top end of the Lifetech range can be equipped with a pump for pneumatic electrolyte mixing which will reduce charging times still further while also enabling efficient opportunity charging. Automatic water top up is also available by adding an electro-valve to the charger.

High power and efficiency, combined with the reduction of energy and water consumption are hallmarks of Hawker HF chargers. The complementary Lifetech range accommodates low, normal and heavy duty charging and is a further extension in the wide portfolio of Hawker HF chargers available from Enersys.
