Alongside the Gudel products were demonstrations of a selction of robotic systems. These incorparated various robots, including the Kuka KR40 articulated arm robot and a Toshiba Machine (TM) SCARA robot unit, demonstrating the use of vision systems for high-speed-pick-and-place operations.
Another TM SCARA unit was on show supporting a high speed, fully-automatic box opening installation (ABOT) that has the capacity to open up to 1200 cardboard cases per hour.
