Doosan opens up new markets

Doosan’s latest Pro-5 Series has been expanded to include up to 99 different models, from 1.3 tonne electrics to 16 tonne diesel giants, says the Korean forklift manufacturer.

Designed with the European market in mind, the range of AC electric, gas and diesel models now covers a wider range of capacities than ever before and has a number of different engine and specification options.

It all adds up to an exciting new time and superb product offer, says UK General Manager, Tim Waples.

“We really have made excellent ground over the past few years and the extended new range is having a really positive impact. Our designers have taken feedback from our customers, with regards to our renowned reliability and straight-forward machines, and built the new range with proven technology and operator comfort in mind. The resulting new range really is getting rave reviews and we’re also opening up new markets, particularly with the larger capacity trucks,” says Tim.

Having made considerable ground in the UK, thanks to standard features such as three year warranties, low-cost oil cooled disk brakes and integral sideshift, the ambitious corporation has added the award-winning Operator Sensing System; a Mast Lock accident prevention feature and swing-down bottle carriers to the range. New features such as rear grab bars and auto-fork levelling are also expected to boost Doosan’s UK sales.
