Exempt from ISPM15

Getting caught up in problems over ISPM15 regulations can be a real and costly hassle for any exporter. All plastic pallets are completely exempt from the new rules. The introduction of strict regulations to stem the spread of wood boring beetles means that all wood packaging used for export must be heat treated and certified. But treatment may not be enough, wooden pallets may still be refused entry and even impounded if port officials are in any doubt that packaging isn’t authentically marked.
