More doors from Hormann at IMHX March 30th 2007 The Hörmann stand at IMHX featured some exciting new products and innovations as well as its current range of best sellers...
New products introduced included the new HSS 6530 high-speed spiral door which opens at up to 3m / sec. Stable construction makes door widths of up to 6500mm possible.
Hormann says another new rolling shutter alternative, the HSR 6008, sets itself apart in the market with stable and simple technology. Narrow guide rails and low space requirements on the sides ensure compact installation dimensions.
Extensive testing with fire doors has yielded brilliant results and Hörmann also featured new products aimed at that section of the market. The stand featured details about a revolutionary low threshold wicket door which can be used as a fire escape, as well as a whole new range of fire doors that comply with British Regulations.
Hörmann is going high-tech as it prepares to introduce new infrared safety edges into the UK market. An infrared transmitter integrated in the bottom profile transmits the information to a receiver connected to the frame. This means that the high-maintenance coiled cable connection is no longer needed. In addition, no hanging cables block the passage of the clear opening and power is supplied by standard batteries.
