De Boer last month supplied two large structures to DHL’s NDC at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal to provide urgent bulk storage space.

On-site and building within three days of the contract being signed, installation took just two days plus a further two days to fit electronically operated roller shutters - a bespoke item provided for DHL.

“There really are no limits to the uses that our temporary structures can be put to - and when we talk about long-term rental, we really do mean long-term," says De Boer’s Commercial Division sales director, Robert Alvarez. "In our initial discussions with DHL we looked at a variety of solutions, proposing both our six metre high Delta systems that provide clear internal working heights and an alternative option that could have remained in place for 20 years. The client’s preferred choice gives immense flexibility as we can add make adaptations during the two-year hire period.”
