Watts Tyre Group reveals CeMAT plans
April 15th 2008 This year Watts Tyre Group brings a bigger, better presence to CeMAT than ever before. With a bigger stand, an exclusive VIP day for key distribution partners and the unveiling of the new Premia POB tyre, Watts has pulled out all the stops to make this event a memorable success.
Chief Executive Jean-Paul Mindermann commented: “CeMAT will allow us to engage with our key partners and to present new developments. A great deal has happened since IMHX in 2007 and we can’t wait to share that. We are very excited about the launch of our new Premia POB tyre. This has been developed to the highest standards and we believe it to be the best POB we have ever produced.
“Our VIP day is a key feature of the show for us; with partners in over 60 countries worldwide it’s very hard to get everyone under one roof simultaneously. This is a great opportunity for us to share our strategy for the forthcoming year, and to recognise how far we have come together over the last year.”
The Premia POB represents a new generation of POB tyres designed with high performance applications in mind. Its contoured design has been engineered to produce low stress points at the band/rubber interface to give outstanding rubber to steel bond characteristics. Available in Traction and Smooth, the Premia POB is also produced in Non Marking and Electrically Conducting compounds.
Initial field tests show that it delivers exceptional performance under a range of conditions.
