Verlinde to double production capacityAugust 28th 2008
Hoist manufacturer Verlinde (owned by the Konecranes group) is set to double production capacity by 2010 following optimisation of its Vernouillet plant.
Celebrating its 150th birthday this year, the firm recently delivered some 500 hoists to Beijing for the Olympic Games opening ceremony, and says this is an example of its ability to meet requirements for customised hoist capacities of up to several hundred tonnes.
