STS adds new counterbalance unit to de-palletiser range

STS Safety Trolley Systems has added a new Super Short DTP07 Counterbalanced Drum De-Palletiser to its already comprehensive range of de-palletisers.

Rear wheel steering makes the new unit very easy to use, allowing operators to manoeuvre it with a 250kg drum on the front with just 12kg of effort. Most companies have an old, yellow, hard-to-use counterbalanced unit designed in the 1960s. There were lots of problems with these old units; the main one being the rear castors causing it to be hard to push and manoeuvre.

All STS de-palletisers are designed to allow compliance with the Manual Handling Regulations and suit a whole range of drums, from 50-210 litres, steel or plastic. The unique Side-Shift arrangement on the DTP04 allows the unit to access drums of all types and sizes even if they are placed in the centre of the pallet, whilst the DTP05 offers a solution where drums are always positioned at the corner of the pallet.

A grit blasted, zinc primer and double powder coated finish ensure that STS offers the premier range of de-palletisers available in the UK.
