Briggs launches 'mid-term' rental package

Dubbed Flexihire, Briggs says the service also encourages new customers to try using Briggs without the commitment of a long-term deal.

"Customer research showed people expect all suppliers to be as mediocre as each other, with price therefore the only real factor," says Brigg's sales and marketing director, Tony Rooney. "We've invested heavily in a new IT system to improve service, and Flexihire is attractive compared to short term hire costs. Over five years, it costs no more than long term hire, but provides customers with more flexibility: Five years is a long time in today's market, and we feel Flexihire is more representative of the way our sector now does business."
